Mastering BIM or CAD software doesn't make you a designer or an architect, just like learning how to use a hammer doesn't make you a carpenter. Creating a thoughtful, educated design for a human being requires much more than simply knowing how to create walls in Revit or putting together a set of construction documents for a project.
